The School of Humanities and Law held a meeting on subjects declaration according to the provincial planning
December 16, 2014 | View:

On the morning of June 1st, there was a mobilization meeting on declaring Social Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province in the meeting room of The School of Humanities and Law. Dean Professor Liu, Party Secretary Cao Zeming, assistant Dean Professor Zhang and Professor Wu as well as other department chairmen and professors attended the meeting.

Dean Liu made an overall deployment and request on the subjects declaration work. He pointed out that we should have a common understanding of the work, make an in-depth initiative, get well prepared and endure frustration. It had to be made clear that declaring a subject was closely related to personal career and growth as well as the development of our school. Therefore, the professors and backbones should take the lead. Coming to the fore was encouraged, in order to mobilize the faculties to apply for it actively. The declarers were required to devote themselves to the research on the announcement, specific provisions and related guides. They should also learn with an open mind the demonstration skills, the loose-leaf design and the angle of view on subject selection. It must be emphasized that declaring a subject was a competition for limited resources, followed by elimination. But it was a good opportunity to learn and to hone and improve oneself. The Party Secretary Cao Zeming, assistant Dean Zhang Xianchang and Wu Xiaofeng made some requirements and related supplements about the declaration work.
