On April 25, the inaugural meeting of the Research Center for Agricultural Provenance Intellectual Property Protection was officially held in 1501 of the Sanjiang Building. The president of Jiangsu University,Yan Xiaohong attended the meeting, and Li Hong,vice president inaugurated the research center. Relevant leaders and persons in charge attended the event.

Li Bingshuo, dean of the Law School, pointed out that this research center, joint with Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court and Zhenjiang People's Procuratorate, aims to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights in the seed industry, and to remove obstacles in the research and development of new varieties of agricultural provenance.

The event adopts the form of "online + offline", creating an intellectual property cultural atmosphere of respecting knowledge, advocating innovation, honesty and law-abiding. A total of more than 200 people participated in the interactive communication.
